Portrait of my husband rendered in Soft Pastels. Shortly after we were married, I had a flash of a photo I wanted to take of him: laughing, eyes closed, wearing a black suit. It wasn't until we were looking for something to do during covid that we FINALLY made it happen. (20+ years later). It took 71 shots to get THE one I had in my mind's eye. When I got it... I had to paint it. I let him title and he chose Mr. Lucky from a song he loves by Max Carl & the Big Dance.
